Detail
On-road or off, this bike delivers efficiency and speed. Salsaâs Journeyer line can pull double or even triple duty, commuting through the week, gravel riding on the weekends, and maybe even a cross event or two. This version of the Journeyer uses SRAMâs gravel focused 11-speed Apex groupset. The 1x11 drivetrain has plenty of mechanical advantage to take the edge off of steep backroads and the uphill sections of your commute. With the removal of a front derailleur thereâs less maintenance and improved durability, a definite plus on rough trails. When youâre starting to gear up for bikepacking, the Journeyerâs frame has plenty of mounting points for bags and racks. And the plush 38mm tires keep the ride comfortable on paths, trails, and bike lanes that have seen better daysu003c/p>
- Light and strong 6061 aluminum frame with a stable relaxed geometry for long days in the saddle
- Salsaâs Waxwing carbon fiber fork helps absorb the vibration of the trail, has 3-pack mounts on both sides, and can accommodate up to 50mm tires
- Cowbell drop bars have a 12° flare, putting your hands, wrists, and arms into a comfortable position when youâre in the drops
- Internal cable routing provides a clean look and offers less to catch on handsy branches
- Frame is dropper post ready, should you want to upgrade in the future
- SRAM Apex 1x12 gruppo yields fast shifts and solid braking in a lightweight package
- DoubleTap system, shifting up or down is done with a with short sweep of your fingers
- Tektro mechanical disc brakes have confidence inspiring power and good modulation
- WTB Serra wheels are stiff, agile, and tubeless ready
- Teravail Washburn tires have a smooth centerline that is fast and efficient on tarmac and hardpack, with heavily lugged shoulders for excellent traction in the corners and on loose terrain
- Tires are tubeless ready
- 12mm thru-axles provide improved tracking and stiffness
- WTB Volt saddle is comfy and supportive on rides of any length. Volt is a size medium â 142 x 265mm
- Mounts for fenders, racks, bottles, frame bags and more
- Due to challenges with supply chain, components may be substituted for comparable parts at any time. The listed build is how MEC intended your bike to arrive, though the manufacturer may need to make a tweak or two to get you riding sooner

I’ve had the Zamberlan 309’s for a month now and have put about 75 km on them. They fit great right out of the box but have been getting even more comfortable every time I hike. I like the lacing system and the ability to adjust the tightness in different parts of the boot. Although they’re fairly new they are definitely waterproof and have good grip. Hopefully they hold up over time.

One of the best all around boots you can buy. Good for 2 hour hikes or 4 day backpacking trips. Not too stiff, but lots of support.

Très confortable. Ok sous la pluie. Belles couleurs.

I bought these last month at the tail end of winter. I am 5 ft 7 woman approx 160 lbs. They are a great size and weight for me. I wanted a pair that would be easy to strap on as I have arthritis in my knee. The harness is easily adjustable. The back strap is a little fiddly to connect the hole into the spike and to insert the extra strap into the holder. However that is minor and after a few tries I got the hang of it. Only reason for the 4 instead of stars. Great product and I look forward to many years of use.

Sturdy, waterproof, hiking sneaker. Feels like you are floating as you walk.

My wife and I traveled for two months last winter. These were the only shoes/sandals I brought, and they served me well through some of the harshest conditions including the desert outback in Australia, the rain in New Zealand, and several encounters with saltwater... They are the perfect everything sandal/shoe for hot, warm, and moderate climates. When we were traveling, we did lots of walking, hiking, beaching, etc. These sandals were up to the challenge of a good hike, or just recreational walking around town. While they are comfortable and breathe well, They don't easily dry while being worn, and because of the toe cap/footbed design, have a tendency to sometimes trap pebbles or sand, requiring that your remove them to shake it out. Also, after time, they really started to stink and required a through cleaning/bleaching which is strange for me because none of my other shoes ever stink. Overall, an excellent comfortable everything sandal/shoe with a few very minor flaws.

I bought this during the MEC sale. I wear a size 6 women boots and the size small fits my boots. I can't compare to size XS which is what is recommended for my boot size as they didn't have it in the store but my size small works and fits me well so no complaints here. Haven't used it for that long so I can't talk about the longevity but I did use them for winter hiking and they are 100% waterproof and the velcro still works!

l love these gaiters. They kept my feet dry in 3 days of continuous rain. I find them easy to adjust and don't budge or slide down as I am a small human. I recommend them to all my friends who want quality gaiters for a modest dollar amount. Would love to see more colours in the future!

Love them! Super comfortable, lots of support, great treads.

Vert comfortable right out of the box, excited to see how the soles hold up

I am in my 3rd year of wearing Keen boots and will not buy another brand period. They have always had a great fit and no break period. I wear them everyday at work and for pleasure.
-
Had these a short time but so far they seem pretty nice. Good quality and comfortable. My previous Targhee III’s were splitting at several seems, but these are reputed to be less prone to this.

I bought my first pair back in 2006 and last year replaced them with new version. Materials are high quality and very durable. We wear them 3 seasons fall/winter/spring when they are needed. Definitely happy with them. Follow sizing chart which works well for me.

Soulier comfortable, moule bien le pied. Resistant

I recently bought a pair of these from MEC and have not yet tested them in the field, but I love their hand-made Italian construction and strength, their good Vibram soles, and their general feel and good quality. They fit well, feel supportive enough for most hiking, and are a very good price. Unusually, the tongues in these boots have no seams, but are directly part of the outer boot leather, which is a bonus to not have leaking tongue seams as in most boots, and it's a sign of high-quality design and manufacturing. Zamberlan have been making boots since 1929, almost 100 years. I love these boots.
-
Loved the Targhee III's, they did start to crack after countless miles and several years of abuse, the IV's have addressed this while keeping the same comfort. I was able to take them out of the box and hike a rough 10 mile hoke with np break in.

Bought these for a trip to Yellowstone and Glacier National payl for light, waterproof hiking needs. Very comfortable through miles of walking and hiking.

These boots have been great. Only this one small issue with one pair. Keen was great to work with in resolving this issue.
