Detail
If pumping into berms and hucking off drops brings a smile to your face, this well specced full-suspension bike is worth a look. Designed to meet the needs of the modern trail rider, the Siskiu T8 doesn't shy away from the gnar. Outfitted with Fox suspension both front and rear, this bike stays glued to the ground through rollers and techie rock gardens. The SLX drivetrain enjoys many of the benefits seen on its XT sibling â like a rear derailleur clutch and 2-way release shifters â but comes in at a fraction of the cost and weight. Powerful 4-piston brakes from Tektro keep your velocity exactly where you want it, so those screaming descents don't have to be so screaming. And, dialed in geometry delivers a natural riding position that feels great in the climbs, and is confidence inspiring in the descentsu003c/p>
- Fox 34 Rhythm front fork with the Grip damper has three settings: open for descending, medium for flowy flats, and firm for climbing. With 10 clicks of low-speed rebound adjustment you can set your preferred tracking
- Fox float DPS rear shock is custom tuned to match the Siskiu T8âs geometry and Polygonâs Faux Bar linkage. DPS damper settings: open, medium, and firm
- One piece suspension linkage increases stiffness while reducing weight. Delivering a ride that is poppy and supportive, with excellent small bump compliance, yet is still efficient in the climbs
- 12-speed Shimano SLX drivetrain is rugged, reliable, and lighter than Deore counterpart
- Tektro Orion 4-piston brakes offer plenty of stopping power and precise speed control in all conditions
- Tektro Orion levers have adjustable reach
- ALX Alloy frame is uses hydro-formed, triple butted 6061 aluminum that has been heat treated for improved strength and durability
- FWG frame geometry optimized for aggressive trail riding, steep descents, and comfortable climbs
- Tapered head tube broadens at the bottom for better force transfer from fork to frame, plus stiffness to improve handling
- Internal cable routing keeps your cables safe from trail hazards and has a nice clean look
- Wheel fit system equips small bikes with 27.5in. wheels, and medium to extra large bikes with 29in. wheels. Polygon feels this balance offers the rider the most efficient power delivery and ergonomics for their size
- Suspension travel varies by size, with the 29in. having 140mm of travel up front and 135mm of rear travel, and the 27.5in. 150mm of travel up front and 140mm of rear travel
- Tranz-X dropper posts with internal cable routing, give you somewhere to sit when you need it and get your seat out of the way when you don't. 29in. â 170mm drop. 27.5in. â 150mm drop
- Entity XL2 aluminum wheels are tubeless ready
- Boost hub spacing offers improved rigidity and strength, and paves the way for easy upgrades down the road
- Short chainstays make the bike feel nimble on the trail and flickable in the corners
- Bikes are covered by MEC's Rocksolid Guarantee and Bike Service Agreement. You can bring your bike to any MEC bike shop for free adjustments and minor maintenance for a year after purchase
- Based in Indonesia, Polygon has been making bikes for more than 25 years. All frames are made in-house, so design and construction are controlled from inception to shipping. You'll see them ridden in the Red Bull Rampage, UCI Downhill World Cup, and major mountain bike events around the world
- Due to challenges with supply chain, components may be substituted for comparable parts at any time. The listed build is how MEC intended your bike to arrive, though the manufacturer may need to make a tweak or two to get you riding sooner

I’ve had the Zamberlan 309’s for a month now and have put about 75 km on them. They fit great right out of the box but have been getting even more comfortable every time I hike. I like the lacing system and the ability to adjust the tightness in different parts of the boot. Although they’re fairly new they are definitely waterproof and have good grip. Hopefully they hold up over time.

One of the best all around boots you can buy. Good for 2 hour hikes or 4 day backpacking trips. Not too stiff, but lots of support.
-
Très confortable. Ok sous la pluie. Belles couleurs.

I bought these last month at the tail end of winter. I am 5 ft 7 woman approx 160 lbs. They are a great size and weight for me. I wanted a pair that would be easy to strap on as I have arthritis in my knee. The harness is easily adjustable. The back strap is a little fiddly to connect the hole into the spike and to insert the extra strap into the holder. However that is minor and after a few tries I got the hang of it. Only reason for the 4 instead of stars. Great product and I look forward to many years of use.

Sturdy, waterproof, hiking sneaker. Feels like you are floating as you walk.

My wife and I traveled for two months last winter. These were the only shoes/sandals I brought, and they served me well through some of the harshest conditions including the desert outback in Australia, the rain in New Zealand, and several encounters with saltwater... They are the perfect everything sandal/shoe for hot, warm, and moderate climates. When we were traveling, we did lots of walking, hiking, beaching, etc. These sandals were up to the challenge of a good hike, or just recreational walking around town. While they are comfortable and breathe well, They don't easily dry while being worn, and because of the toe cap/footbed design, have a tendency to sometimes trap pebbles or sand, requiring that your remove them to shake it out. Also, after time, they really started to stink and required a through cleaning/bleaching which is strange for me because none of my other shoes ever stink. Overall, an excellent comfortable everything sandal/shoe with a few very minor flaws.

I bought this during the MEC sale. I wear a size 6 women boots and the size small fits my boots. I can't compare to size XS which is what is recommended for my boot size as they didn't have it in the store but my size small works and fits me well so no complaints here. Haven't used it for that long so I can't talk about the longevity but I did use them for winter hiking and they are 100% waterproof and the velcro still works!

l love these gaiters. They kept my feet dry in 3 days of continuous rain. I find them easy to adjust and don't budge or slide down as I am a small human. I recommend them to all my friends who want quality gaiters for a modest dollar amount. Would love to see more colours in the future!

Love them! Super comfortable, lots of support, great treads.

Vert comfortable right out of the box, excited to see how the soles hold up

I am in my 3rd year of wearing Keen boots and will not buy another brand period. They have always had a great fit and no break period. I wear them everyday at work and for pleasure.
-
Had these a short time but so far they seem pretty nice. Good quality and comfortable. My previous Targhee III’s were splitting at several seems, but these are reputed to be less prone to this.

I bought my first pair back in 2006 and last year replaced them with new version. Materials are high quality and very durable. We wear them 3 seasons fall/winter/spring when they are needed. Definitely happy with them. Follow sizing chart which works well for me.

These shoes are very comfortable! So happy with them!!

Soulier comfortable, moule bien le pied. Resistant

I recently bought a pair of these from MEC and have not yet tested them in the field, but I love their hand-made Italian construction and strength, their good Vibram soles, and their general feel and good quality. They fit well, feel supportive enough for most hiking, and are a very good price. Unusually, the tongues in these boots have no seams, but are directly part of the outer boot leather, which is a bonus to not have leaking tongue seams as in most boots, and it's a sign of high-quality design and manufacturing. Zamberlan have been making boots since 1929, almost 100 years. I love these boots.
-
Loved the Targhee III's, they did start to crack after countless miles and several years of abuse, the IV's have addressed this while keeping the same comfort. I was able to take them out of the box and hike a rough 10 mile hoke with np break in.

Bought these for a trip to Yellowstone and Glacier National payl for light, waterproof hiking needs. Very comfortable through miles of walking and hiking.

These boots have been great. Only this one small issue with one pair. Keen was great to work with in resolving this issue.
