Bought this before a trip to Banff and couldn’t be happier. Wind, snow, freezing rain—this jacket handled it all. The inner lining feels soft and it doesn’t crinkle loudly when moving. One of the best winter investments I’ve made.

Jacket’s warm, sure, but the pocket zippers feel cheap? One already snapped. For the price, I expected better. Still wears well, but kinda annoying when your gloves fall into the snow mid-blizzard.

This jacket is worth every penny. I wore it during a week-long trip to Banff in January and stayed warm even on the coldest ski days. The fit is flattering and roomy enough for layers. No regrets investing in a quality winter coat.

Love how warm it is, but took a while to decide on the size. Runs a bit large. Had to exchange for a small. Otherwise, great quality and looks stylish with boots.

Good jacket, no complaints, but the zipper sticks a bit. Had to wiggle it like I was starting a lawnmower. Still kept me warm during ice fishing, so I’ll overlook the drama.

Short but mighty—I’m 5’2" and most parkas make me look like a marshmallow. Not this one! Snug fit, great length, and crazy warm. Even survived my toddler spilling hot chocolate down the front. Machine wash saved the day.

Good warmth, but heavier than I expected. It’s bulky when packed. Works well outdoors, though I wouldn’t hike long distances in it. Still, does its job in cold weather.

Really happy with this purchase — super warm and well-made. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the pockets are a bit stiff at first. But the thermal protection is excellent, and I feel cozy even in heavy snow.

Look, if you’re from Canada and need a jacket, this isn’t optional. It’s survival gear. I wore it during the polar vortex in Winnipeg and felt downright cozy. Also got complimented more than usual—fashion *and* function? Unfair.

I’ve had the Zamberlan 309’s for a month now and have put about 75 km on them. They fit great right out of the box but have been getting even more comfortable every time I hike. I like the lacing system and the ability to adjust the tightness in different parts of the boot. Although they’re fairly new they are definitely waterproof and have good grip. Hopefully they hold up over time.

I bought these last month at the tail end of winter. I am 5 ft 7 woman approx 160 lbs. They are a great size and weight for me. I wanted a pair that would be easy to strap on as I have arthritis in my knee. The harness is easily adjustable. The back strap is a little fiddly to connect the hole into the spike and to insert the extra strap into the holder. However that is minor and after a few tries I got the hang of it. Only reason for the 4 instead of stars. Great product and I look forward to many years of use. kh*****tfg

My wife and I traveled for two months last winter. These were the only shoes/sandals I brought, and they served me well through some of the harshest conditions including the desert outback in Australia, the rain in New Zealand, and several encounters with saltwater... They are the perfect everything sandal/shoe for hot, warm, and moderate climates. When we were traveling, we did lots of walking, hiking, beaching, etc. These sandals were up to the challenge of a good hike, or just recreational walking around town. While they are comfortable and breathe well, They don't easily dry while being worn, and because of the toe cap/footbed design, have a tendency to sometimes trap pebbles or sand, requiring that your remove them to shake it out. Also, after time, they really started to stink and required a through cleaning/bleaching which is strange for me because none of my other shoes ever stink. Overall, an excellent comfortable everything sandal/shoe with a few very minor flaws. df*****hk

I bought this during the MEC sale. I wear a size 6 women boots and the size small fits my boots. I can't compare to size XS which is what is recommended for my boot size as they didn't have it in the store but my size small works and fits me well so no complaints here. Haven't used it for that long so I can't talk about the longevity but I did use them for winter hiking and they are 100% waterproof and the velcro still works! b***gh

l love these gaiters. They kept my feet dry in 3 days of continuous rain. I find them easy to adjust and don't budge or slide down as I am a small human. I recommend them to all my friends who want quality gaiters for a modest dollar amount. Would love to see more colours in the future! kh****lh

I bought my first pair back in 2006 and last year replaced them with new version. Materials are high quality and very durable. We wear them 3 seasons fall/winter/spring when they are needed. Definitely happy with them. Follow sizing chart which works well for me. h***h

I recently bought a pair of these from MEC and have not yet tested them in the field, but I love their hand-made Italian construction and strength, their good Vibram soles, and their general feel and good quality. They fit well, feel supportive enough for most hiking, and are a very good price. Unusually, the tongues in these boots have no seams, but are directly part of the outer boot leather, which is a bonus to not have leaking tongue seams as in most boots, and it's a sign of high-quality design and manufacturing. Zamberlan have been making boots since 1929, almost 100 years. I love these boots. Thor*********boots

Loved the Targhee III's, they did start to crack after countless miles and several years of abuse, the IV's have addressed this while keeping the same comfort. I was able to take them out of the box and hike a rough 10 mile hoke with np break in. yt*****urt
